All Russell Pottery products are wheel-thrown, glazed, and fired by Ken Russell using Tucker's Clay, the best commercially made clay available. The glazes are Ken’s own recipes, developed over many years (with thanks to John Hesselberth and Ron Roy for their expertise).
Everything here is oven, dishwasher, microwave, and (most importantly) food safe. One reminder—hand-thrown pottery should never be heated using a flame or electric burner. NO LEAD is present in any Russell Pottery clay or glazes. Why make functional pottery if it can't be used every day?
